Start Point v osmém roce své existence zahrnuje 33 škol z 16 zemí.

Projekt Start Point byl založen roku 2003 v Galerii Klatovy/Klenová. Od roku 2010 je organizován Nadací Arbor Vitae, hlavní výstava se koná v Galerii Středočeského kraje (GASK) v Kutné Hoře od 18. září do 28. listopadu 2010.

Na každé škole vybere tříčlenná komise složená ze dvou zástupců poroty a jednoho místního pedagoga „nejlepší” absolventskou práci. V den vernisáže vybere mezinárodní jury držitele hlavní ceny, jejíž součástí je samostatná výstava včetně vydání katalogu. Od roku 2008 uděluje porota i několik čestných uznání. Všichni ocenění jsou v následujícím roce pozváni na rezidenční pobyt v České republice.
