In her multi-genre installation, Maria Zillich tells the story of two men against the backdrop of the history of the second half of the 20th century: a German philosopher and an Italian shepherd who, despite their very different backgrounds, are brought together in a lifelong friendship. Among other things because one of the protagonists is the artist’s father, we can follow an attempt at providing a detailed study using various media – both direct representations, as through photographs and newspaper articles, as well as the artist’s drawn interpretations and freely inspired installations and short videos.
