Julia Zborowska

She wants crocodiles
In her non-linear work offering a commentary on society, Julia Zborowska applies the formal approach of advertising and music videos. She consciously avoids telling one story or offering any conclusions. The somewhat surreal scenes take place in various different surroundings incongruous to the characters of this filmic collage. Dark and sexy scenes of an extravagant underworld alternate with scenes from a fitness club and the like. Zborowska’s mosaic is based on a blending of scenes and moods and a fluidity of motion reminiscent of the flow of time.
