Daniel de Roo’s main topics are illusion and scale. In four installations, he presents playful, often absurd models of intertwining genres. The initial model of his own studio is further developed into a model of theatre sets or film shoots which themselves are projected onto the stage set. The installation “How Television Works” is a poetic look back at the almost archaic technologies of the 20th century. –pv-
