Petr Dub

Petr Dub’s work is focused on the painting as medium, whose established form is determined by several basic characteristics that can be violated, called into doubt, or freed up. Dub takes the painting as an intangible right-angle surface suitable for the transfer of visual information and transforms it into an autonomous artifact of an amorphous (sometimes three-dimensional) shape that communicates with the specific exhibition space, for which the artist always prepares a specific installation.
