The artistic duo Jakub Hájek and František Hanousek (who still studies the same academy) have for several years been indulging in a very special “non-digital” aesthetic that combines post-apocalyptic collecting, ecology and simple parody to the sophisticatedly treacherous perfection of current technology. Their objects, sculptures and drawings are created organically and spontaneously and gradually create a universe, with rules formed by childlike playfulness and the burdensome awareness of the state of contemporary civilization. -pv-
